Association Article 1 chose Didask's pedagogical approach to design and deliver online training modules for their beneficiaries & volunteers... Testimonial...
Article 1 supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in their orientation, academic success and personal development. A long-standing partner of Didask for 5 years, the association uses Didask's pedagogical approach and platform to train its beneficiaries and partners across its various programmes.
An interview with Sidibe Salifou, Digital Learning Project Manager
Sidibe, could you tell us about Article 1's work?
The goal of our association is to make Article 1 of the 1789 Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen a reality:

To this end, Article 1 develops digital and in-person programmes to help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to:
- find their direction: overcome self-censorship and support secondary school students in choosing their studies
- succeed: through education, entrepreneurship and civic engagement
- develop themselves: realise and showcase the richness of their journey to strengthen their employability
Didask has been Article 1's digital learning partner for 5 years. Could you tell us about the various projects carried out with the Didask team and platform?
With pleasure. With Didask, we have collaborated on several projects. Our first project was the design in 2016 of a free, open-access course on positive leadership in partnership with Accenture, ESSEC (Editor's note: also a Didask partner), EDHEC and Cnam. Since 2018, we have also been training all volunteers of the Tous Mentors programme on Didask.
This year, we also worked with Didask on the Jobready programme, with online training modules enabling young beneficiaries to test themselves and improve their soft skills.
Finally, in the context of the Covid-19 crisis, we also relied on Didask as part of the #Réussitevirale project initiated by Article 1 and FAGE to support disadvantaged students during lockdown. The Didask platform proved invaluable in rapidly training and equipping the volunteers mobilised for this emergency solidarity effort.
"The Didask platform, with its online training modules, proved invaluable in rapidly training and equipping the volunteers mobilised for the #RéussiteVirale emergency solidarity effort."
What makes Didask different from a standard digital learning solution?
The real difference is the pedagogical approach. Didask is a solution grounded in cognitive science with proven effectiveness. Learners progress through their trial-and-error pathway to challenge their assumptions against reality. In the interactive quizzes, they learn by and for themselves, through concrete practical scenarios. It's a brilliant inverted, empowering method. The pedagogical approach also means the quality of human support from the Didask team, who are always available to help us design learning pathways tailored to our learners.
"The Didask team is always available to help us design learning pathways tailored to our learners."

Who would you recommend Didask to, and why?
I recommend Didask to organisations that want to see their teams make lasting progress. Training is good; finding an innovative approach to do so is even better. The advantage of the Didask approach is that it allows you to design learning modules that will have a genuine impact on your learners' capabilities.
"Training online is good. Finding an innovative approach to do so is better."
